Being able to extract content from a web page is particularly useful for mobile settings, where both network bandwidth and screen real-estate are scarce. With this motivation and inspired by arc90's readability.js project and Keyvan Minoukadeh's php port, I have ported the readability.js project to Java so that it can be used as a library on Android. I have named this JReadability and made it open source on GitHub.
