By Cherlynn Low Not to be outdone by rivals Samsung and Apple, Google is rumored to be working on its next Nexus device, which could be the most powerful smartphone to hit the market yet. Early benchmarks on Geekbench show that the rumored Nexus X's multi-core performance could blow competing devices such as the Galaxy S5 and the iPhone 6 clear out of the water. Results for a device called the "Motorola Shamu," a code name that's previously been linked to the rumored upcoming Nexus, turned up on Geekbench , a test that assesses a device's general processor and memory performance.
