Add #. option for ordered list markdown - Meta Stack Exchange
You could use "1." for each item of the ordered list.
1. This is an ordered list 1. The list contains three items 1. This is the last one - This is an ordered list
- The list contains three items
- This is the last one
Markdown renders the ordered list automatically numbering the single items.
