If you use liquid detergent, try the Kirkland Signature Free & Clear. For your dishwasher, the Kirkland Signature Dishwasher Pacs are a smart choice. Both did very well in Consumer Reports tests and cost far less than the name-brand detergents. How about mayo? In blind taste tests, Consumer Reports found the Kirkland Signature Real Mayonnaise to be just as good as Hellmann's, for about 60 percent of the cost. The editors are big fans of Kirkland Signature Regular Sliced Bacon. They say it tastes better than the more-expensive name-brand bacons. If you use a lot of batteries, you should consider Kirkland Signature AA Alkaline batteries. They come in jumbo packs, cost about 27 cents a battery and rated excellent in the magazine's tests.
