ET Share Bloomberg Markets writer SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Oracle Corp. shares rose in the extended session Wednesday after the database software company's quarterly results topped Wall Street expectations. Oracle ORCL, +1.30% shares advanced 3.5% to $42.61 on heavy volume after the company reported adjusted fiscal second-quarter earnings of 69 cents a share on revenue of $9.6 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected 68 cents a share on revenue of $9.5 billion. Jabil Circuit Inc. JBL, +1.93% shares rose 7.1% to $21.50 on moderate volume after fiscal first-quarter profit and sales surpassed consensus estimates. Herman Miller Inc. MLHR, +3.29% shares declined 5.1% to $29.50 on moderate volume after reporting adjusted fiscal second-quarter earnings of 51 cents a share on revenue of $565.4 million.
