How to Make Calendar Events From Gmail
- Open the Google Calendar app on your mobile device. Expand the menu icon at the top of the screen and tap Settings.
- Tap Events from Gmail.
- The screen that opens contains your Google log-in information and an on/off slider next to Add events from Gmail. Tap the slider to move it to the on position. Now, when you receive an email in your Google Mail app about an event such as a concert, restaurant reservation, or flight, it is added to your calendar automatically. You can delete a single event or turn off this feature if you don't want events to be added automatically.
