  是春季主要蔬菜之一,其中含有多种营养成分,尤其含矿物质钙、磷、铁较多,能助长骨骼、坚固牙齿。中医认为,莴笋有清热、利尿、活血、通乳的作用,尤其适合产后少尿及无乳的人食用。
