Bay City News Published: Updated: Related Coverage SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) — Two people who died following a vehicle collision in South San Francisco on Friday night have been identified as San Francisco resident Fabiola Corona, 18, and Brisbane resident Gabriel Maldonado, 21, according to the San Mateo County coroner's office. The pair died after the Honda they were in collided with another car, struck a tree, rolled over and then struck another tree, causing the car to be split in half. The victims were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Honda, identified as 19-year-old Joshua Maldonado of Brisbane, suffered minor injuries and was arrested. He is being charged by the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office with two counts of vehicular manslaughter and will appear in San Mateo County Superior Court in Redwood City on Tuesday afternoon to be arraigned, according to District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe.
