And if using the same remote repository (depot repository) with other developers, it is often Non-Fast-Forward Push problem occurs.
In order to explain that what a Non-Fast-Forward, the first place to explain that what is the Fast-Forward.
The Fast Forward?
We were able to have a branch A from the master branch at some point. After that, we will commit in the branch A.
In the meantime, it will not have been completely carried out commits in the master branch.
It's safely merge possible to branch A branch master in this state. Commits you made to the branch A and because only may be performed also to master.
However, it is only actually Fast Forward merge instead of away play the same change, simply change the master branch to point to the same commit as the branch A.
This is the Fast Forward merge.
